Sam focuses his practice on criminal defense, landlord/tenant issues, protection orders, and CPS cases. Client connections are Sam's passion. He takes pride in his ability to explain the legal system, identify goals, and ensure that each client's rights are protected to the fullest extent of the law.
Before starting the firm, Sam represented countless misdemeanor clients as a public defender; worked on state and federal felony cases; analyzed claims in major U.S. class action lawsuits; and volunteered in chambers at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
A native of New Hampshire, Sam moved to Washington in 2005 and graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2012. After having lived in several cities all over the world, he is now proud to call Port Townsend his home. When he is not working hard in the courtroom, Sam can often be seen hiking, skiing, or riding his bicycle.
